AGREEMENT CECABLE AND VITEC

The CECABLE (Centre d'Estudis sobre el Cable) and the
VITEC (Centre de Dinamització Tecnològica) have signed an agreement of
collaboration with the objective of be informed mutually and to exchange the
results of the studies that both entities carry out. The agreement has been
signed by Joan Francesc Fondevila, director of the CECABLE, and Antoni
Peñarroya, president of the VITEC.
The VITEC has as main objectives to promote project
innovations and technological development that, taking advantage of the growth
of the information and knowledge society, allow the enlargement and
consolidation of the productive fabric of the area of Sabadell and influence
area.
The CECABLE, with headquarters in Terrassa, is a non
lucrative entity which goal is to purpose the study, the investigation, the
information and the popularization on the cable and the telecommunications. As
pioneer in the sector, the CECABLE (that was born in 1995 before the
promulgation of the Law of Telecommunications by Cable) has received the
Catalan record. It elaborates studies and specialized reports for entities and
companies of Catalunya, Spain and the rest of the world, it appears in the main
directory and world reference books and it has web page that is one of those
most visited ones of the sector.
"The agreement is very interesting for both parts
that will benefit mutually of initiatives that turn on the information society
and the cable telecommunications broad-band networks, main centers of the
phenomenon", explains Fondevila, director of the CECABLE and general
director of the VITEC.
The agreement, also, previews the possibility to
establish agreements of collaboration of both part for the activities and the
specific projects that are carried out jointly.
AGREEMENT CECABLE AND SPAKMEDIA

CECABLE and Spak Media CO.LTD. has signed an agreement
of collaboration with the objective of generating projects about Internet
through Satellite. "The data traffic growth causes that the cable together
with the satellite supplement itselft when providing services like Internet
access for the company. Due to it it’s interesting to develop projects in this
field", explains the director of
CECABLE, Joan Francesc Fondevila.
CECABLE, stated in 1995, which headquarters is in
Terrassa, has as main objectives to promote investigation projects, innovation
and technological development linked to the cable telecommunications and broad
band networks (such as optic fiber, RDSI, ADSL, microwaves systems and other)
that allow to inform, to disclose and to study the Information and Knowledge
Society and their applications.
Spak Media, which headquarter is in Sabadell, is a Telecommunications
Engeneering and Computer Science company specialized in solutions of broad-band
access to wired or wireless Internet, multimedia networks, connections based on
TCP/IP, VSAT on standard DVB-RCS and Internet softwares applications.
CECABLE has
received the Catalan Record as pioneer entity in the field has generated an
abundant bibliography. Fondevila has elaborated the books ‘The cable to

CECABLE and SILDES (Society for the Labor Integration
of Services) have signed an agreement of collaboration with the objective of
generating projects that, in the mark of the Information Society, favor those
diminished. "The advantages of the Information and Knowledge Society are
numerous and they reach the whole population, with emphasis on those diminished
that constitute a specially prone community to the use of the network and its
technology", explains the director of CECABLE, Joan Francesc Fondevila.
CECABLE, stated in 1995 which headquarters is in
Terrassa, has as main objectives to promote investigation projects, innovation
and technological development linked to the cable telecommunications and broad
band networks (such as optic fiber, RDSI, ADSL, microwaves systems and other)
that allow to inform, to disclose and to study the Information and Knowledge
Society and their applications.
According to Fondevila, "the digital society and
the phenomenon of the globalization are articulating the current world, and to
study the arteries, the cable and broad-band networks is fundamental, the same
as to analyze the contents that can circulate for these networks and the
applications for the citizenship."
SILDES is a work cooperative with no profit association
which objective is the integration sociolaboral of the diminished physical and
sensorial community by means of the benefit of services. Parallelly, SILDES
carries out and collaborates in campaigns of sensitization and information of
this community, carrying out formation courses and programs of personal
adjustment.
At the moment,
CECABLE and SILDES have already thrown two projects: the digitalización of the
accessibility of the Catalan municipalities and the white Book on the
Information Society and those diminished. Also, both entities are informed and
they collaborate in studies, projects, publications, conferences, days and work
sessions.
AGREEMENT CECABLE AND INNOVA

CECABLE and INNOVA coast oceanography, CO.LTD., have
signed an agreement of collaboration with the objective of generating projects
that analize the hydraulic resources from the perspective of the Information
Society. "The tools that contributes to the Information and Knowledge Society
are multi-functional, and allow applications in the measurement and control of
the water and all type of hydraulic resources", explains the director of
the CECABLE, Joan Francesc Fondevila.
CECABLE, stated in 1995 which headquarters is in
Terrassa, has as main objectives to promote investigation projects, innovation
and technological development linked to the cable telecommunications and broad
band networks (such as optic fiber, RDSI, ADSL, microwaves systems and other)
that allow to inform, to disclose and to study the Information and Knowledge
Society and their applications.
According to Fondevila, "the availability of
technology and cable and broad-band networks opens a wide range of impressive
possibilities in many environments. To carry out a correct administration of
the water, a fundamental but scarce natural resource, is simpler thanks to the
flow of data that can be transmitted through the networks."
INNOVA has as purpose to supply, install and
administrate the hidrographic instrument to make the analysis, studies and
projects dedicated to the improvement of the administration and the resolution
of relative problems of the continental and marine waters. According to Oswaldo

Econòmics de Catalunya (Fesec) have signed an agreement of collaboration with the

telecommunications networks, since it is necessary to frame the technological
